Between June 12 and July 17, the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center (part of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging) is offering a FREE course on liability and insurance issues affecting volunteer-based transportation programs. VIS is one of the presenters in the course.
Course registrants will:
- Learn the tools to understand and manage the risks of starting and operating a volunteer transportation program.
- Gain a better understanding of key factors affecting risk management, liability and insurance.
- Learn about best practices for insuring volunteer drivers and training them in transportation safety.

Course materials will be posted starting June 12, 2019. The course is self-paced and participants can work through the materials on their own time.
