First Light Facts– A Positive Way to Start the Day
In the last quarter of 2020, VIS began a new email program called “First Light Facts: Starting Your Day in a Positive Way.” Four mornings each week, subscribers receive a short educational or entertaining message about a topic that is sure to make them smile and go, “Hmm!” Here’s a sample of some of the topics from last month:
How the 21-year old woman who was the youngest to row solo across the Atlantic Ocean finds ways to use her accomplishments to teach and inspire millions … Why an interview with a rooster left us cocking our heads and crowing with laughter … Who actually said “Elementary, my dear Watson?” … Reasons why you shouldn’t try to grow daisies in Antarctica … and no, U.S. President William Howard Taft did not get stuck in a bathtub.
